Founded by Rick Whitfield, a dedicated high school and club baseball coach, Elias Sports was born from a deep understanding of the demands elite athletes face on the road. With over 25 years of coaching experience and a career built on passion, preparation, and high standards, Rick has helped hundreds of players compete at the highest levels of youth and high school baseball. His teams have consistently stood out not just for their performance but for their focus, mindset, and discipline.

Through countless weekends spent traveling to face the nation’s best, Rick saw firsthand how much of today’s game happens far from home. He also recognized a growing need: athletes need to travel smarter. How well you travel and how prepared you are is the new home-field advantage.

Elias Sports was founded to meet that need. Our debut product is the first premium hard-shell hat case designed specifically for athletes. Built for baseball players and golfers who regularly travel with multiple hats, the Elias Hat Case solves a problem athletes have long ignored: how to protect your hats without sacrificing style or space. Tired of seeing players stuff hats into bags or leave them behind, Rick set out to create a product that was equal parts functional, durable, and elite.
