At Elias Sports, we design innovative travel gear built for athletes who take preparation seriously. Our mission is simple. Help athletes stay organized, focused, and ready to perform wherever the game takes them.

Elias Sports was founded by Rick Whitfield, a longtime high school and club baseball coach with more than 25 years of experience. Over the course of his career, Rick has coached hundreds of athletes competing at the highest levels of youth and high school travel baseball. His teams have consistently stood out not only for their performance, but for their discipline, mindset, and attention to detail.

 

After countless weekends spent traveling to compete against the nation’s best, Rick saw firsthand how much of today’s game happens far from home. He also recognized a growing gap. While athletes invest heavily in training, competing, and equipment, very little thought is given to how they travel. Yet preparation does not stop when the game ends. How you travel, and how prepared you are on the road, has become the new home-field advantage.

Elias Sports was created to meet that need.

Our debut product is the Elias Hat Case, the first premium hard-shell hat case designed specifically for athletes. Built for baseball players and golfers who travel with multiple hats, it solves a problem athletes have long overlooked. Hats are essential. They are personal, performance-driven, and part of how athletes present themselves. Yet they are often crushed in bags or forgotten altogether.

The Elias Hat Case protects hats without sacrificing style, space, or performance. It is durable, functional, and intentionally designed for athletes who demand more from the way they prepare and travel.
